How is AI impacting your practice of medicine? Share your experience today

Via a survey, AOiA is seeking feedback on how DOs are using digital health tools; AOiA will use the information to develop a digital health program designed to meet DOs’ needs.

Topics

Artificial intelligence (AI) use in medicine is becoming increasingly widespread. A 2025 survey found that two out of every three doctors reported using healthcare AI in 2024—an increase of 78% compared to 2023. This trend is likely to continue in 2026 and beyond.

The AOA and AOiA are committed to supporting the osteopathic community throughout this evolving journey as AI has more of an impact on the practice of medicine, and we want to hear from you. Please complete our survey on the use of AI and other digital health tools in osteopathic medicine. Your feedback will help us develop a digital health program designed to meet your needs.

We’ll have three goals for moving forward after receiving DO input:

  • Goal 1: Establish a baseline. Understand the current state of digital health adoption and technical readiness among osteopathic physicians and their institutions.
  • Goal 2: Identify future needs. Capture insights on emerging technology priorities (e.g., AI, remote patient monitoring) and areas of interest to guide AOiA’s innovation roadmap.
  • Goal 3: Assess awareness and roles. Gauge DOs’ level of technological awareness, their role in decision-making and overall tech-savviness to inform targeted education and resources.

Please take a few moments to complete the survey. Participants who submit a completed survey will be entered into a drawing for one of two $200 Visa gift cards.
