Event registration for the AOA’s annual DO Day, the largest osteopathic advocacy event of the year, has opened. DO Day 2026 will take place virtually on March 21-22 and in-person in Washington, D.C., on March 25-26. DO Day provides an opportunity to hone your advocacy skills and make an impact, while meeting like-minded physicians and politicians hoping to create positive change.

Registration includes access to two days of continuing medical education (CME) programming; earn up to 12 credits. DO Day registration also provides unlimited access to on-demand session recordings.

Why attend DO Day?

  • Your voice carries weight—lawmakers want to hear from seasoned physicians who can connect policy to patient outcomes. Your years of experience make you a trusted, credible source.
  • Learn how to participate in the legislative process and effectively advocate for your profession and patients.
  • Establish relationships with your lawmakers; the first step toward successful advocacy.
  • Shape future legislation by having conversations with them on important policy that impacts your practice and patients.
  • Get equipped to be an advocacy leader for the osteopathic medical profession, both collectively and back home in your district.
  • Inspire the next generation of DOs—lead and mentor them by your example.
  • Avoid burnout and rediscover the “why” that brought you into medicine in the first place—to help your patients. Engage in an invigorating and inspiring experience right on Capitol Hill.
  • A great investment of your limited time—policy you will help shape has an impact on healthcare, your practice and your patients.

Call for presenters

The AOA is also seeking seasoned osteopathic physicians and student advocates to speak and present virtually during the virtual conference. If you have a topic you would like to present, you are invited to apply today—applications for speakers will close in early January 2026.

Content may qualify for CME and will be reviewed by the AOA CME team. Recordings will be featured on the DO Day virtual platform and made available to all DO Day registrants. Additional details regarding CME and logistics will be provided to selected presenters.
