Dr. Rohan, Having gone through my own personal acute and chronic medical diagonsis, I can this his experience will make you a much more compassionate and understanding physician. Most students do not have to go through such challenges at your age and do not undertand the hurdles and tasks that patients and families have to go through with major health issues. This unfortunate experience will will give you something that can’t be taught or learned in lectures or textbooks…empathy.
