A graduate of Nova Southeastern University Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-KPCOM) and board-certified dermatologist, Will Kirby, DO, (“Dr. Will”), is currently a contestant on NBC’s “Deal or No Deal Island.” The reality competition series is in its second season and requires contestants to compete in excursions as they collect briefcases hidden across the “Banker’s” private island.

Although this is Dr. Will’s first time on the show, he has previously appeared in more than 35 different TV shows, including “The Doctors,” “The Young & The Restless,” “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” “Regis & Kelly” and “Chelsea Lately.” He was also a featured physician on E! Entertainment Television’s “Dr. 90210,” a reality series showcasing true plastic surgery stories in Beverly Hills.

Dr. Will is well-known for his appearance on CBS’ second season of “Big Brother” in 2001, which he ultimately won after creating the first alliance in the show’s history. What he learned from this competition show clearly served him well, as he went on to also win “The Price is Right” in 2016.

Dr. Will told “People” that he was inspired to join the cast of “Deal or No Deal Island” after watching the show’s first season with his daughter. He also noted that he has been appearing on reality TV shows for 25 years and will likely retire from reality TV after the second season of “Deal or No Deal Island.”

Dr. Will currently works at the Western University of Health Sciences in California as an assistant professor of dermatology, as well as assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Dermatology, for Nova Southeastern University, his alma mater.

As a member of the AOA, as well as the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (AOCD), Dr. Will frequently spends his time lecturing at medical conventions and publishing his work in medical journals. He also serves on the editorial advisory boards of two dermatological publications, the Dermatologist and the Journal of Aesthetic and Clinical Dermatology, and helps review for the Osteopathic Medical Board of California in dermatology. Dr. Will is also the chief medical officer (CMO) of LaserAway, an aesthetic dermatology group.

Deal or No Deal Island airs on NBC on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET and is available for streaming Wednesdays on Peacock.
