This series will provide osteopathic physicians with the knowledge and strategies needed to integrate new technologies into their practices. The first webinar in this series, Embracing the Digital Revolution in Osteopathic Medicine: Leveraging Technology to Enhance Patient Care and Practice Efficiency, will be hosted on Nov. 4, 2024, from 4:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. CT by David O. Shumway, DO, and Sameer Sood, DO. Dr. Shumway is a captain in the United States Air Force, an internal medicine resident and a steering committee member of the DHI CoP. Dr. Sood is a family medicine physician and the CEO and co-founder of FwdSlash. Webinar attendees can expect to gain insights into AOIA’s newly launched digital health initiative and understand how the initiative will tackle common challenges; explore relevant digital health technologies; and hear a discussion of practical challenges that osteopathic physicians may face when adopting digital health technologies.
