This award is presented annually to deserving physicians and lay individuals for their outstanding accomplishments in advancing the science and art of osteopathic medicine, education, philanthropy or other fields of public service. Criteria for selecting these outstanding individuals should include one or more of the following: Contribution to the advancement of the osteopathic medical profession Contribution to the advancement of osteopathic medical education Contribution to the osteopathic profession through research Contribution to the osteopathic profession through philanthropic leadership To submit a nomination, please complete the online submission form. The deadline to submit a nominee is 11:59 p.m. CT on Monday, March 25, 2024. When submitting a nomination, please include the following information: Curriculum vitae of nominee Letter of recommendation from the nominating affiliate’s governing board (e.g., state osteopathic medical association, osteopathic specialty society, college of osteopathic medicine and/or non-practice affiliate) Photo of nominee (optional) Recipients will be notified in May and recognized in July during the AOA House of Delegates.
