The AOA’s Public Policy team has published a summary of the new rule, which includes a proposed 3.37% reduction in Medicare physician payment rates. The AOA is taking swift action to prevent the payment cuts, including deployment of a grassroots advocacy campaign urging Congress to establish more stable physician payment updates through the Strengthening Medicare for Patients and Providers Act (HR 2474).
