April 30, 2018Monday The DO Staff Contact The DO Staff Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) reports that 98.76% of graduating fourth-year DO students who sought graduate medical education were successfully placed in training programs. The figure reflects data collected from every college of osteopathic medicine as of April 12. Of graduating MDs who entered the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) this year, 94.3% matched. A record high number of DOs joined their MD counterparts in matching via NRMP this year, as the profession moves toward a single system of GME accreditation.
