Headed to OMED 2015? 5 things to know before you go

It’s almost time for the osteopathic profession’s premier event of the year! Find out what’s in store and make sure you’re ready for ‘The DO Experience.’

It’s almost time for OMED 2015, the osteopathic profession’s premier event of the year. This year’s conference, set for Oct. 17-21 in Orlando, features more ways than ever before to combine your CME with networking and fun. If you will be joining us for The DO Experience, here are 5 things you should know before you go.

  1. Be prepared for more interactive learning, like the new Discovery Zone and Interactive Professor, which lets you earn CME by watching a high-resolution, 30-minute educational session on type 2 diabetes. The Interactive Professor will be available Sunday through Monday in the West D Lobby, next to registration.
  2. Be the first to see the launch of the Brand Awareness Campaign designed to educate the public about osteopathic medicine and the unique, whole-person care DOs provide.
  3. Honor the stars of the profession at the new MVP Awards Reception, poolside at the Hyatt on Oct. 19. Hosted by pro football Hall of Fame legend Richard Dent, it’s a can’t-miss event!
  4. See an inspiring lineup of speakers at the General Sessions, now being held in the evening to ensure you don’t miss any CME. Hear from U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, StoryCorps founder Dave Isay, and New York Times journalist Anna Quindlen.
  5. Download this year’s free OMED 2015 mobile app to put The DO Experience in the palm of your hand. Use the app to view the schedule, see what’s trending and find your way around the Experience Zone. Search “OMED 2015” in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

There’s still time to join The DO Experience. Register now!
