Year-end CME: Understand MIPS prep, the 2018 Physician Fee Schedule, and more

Get ready for the new year by getting a handle on what’s in store for physician payments in 2018.

With 2018 just around the corner, now is a great time to start preparing for the changes ahead. In the coming weeks, the AOA will be offering several webinars to help physicians get up to date on MIPS prep, the 2018 Physician Fee Schedule and the impact of potential tax reform on practice management. 2018 Physician Fee Schedule: What you need to know
The Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) updates payment policies, payment rates, and other provisions for services furnished on or after Jan. 1, 2018. In addition to policies affecting the calculation of payment rates, this final rule identifies potentially misvalued codes, adds procedures to the telehealth list, and finalizes a number of new policies.
In this webinar, CMS representative Barbara Connors, DO, will cover the new conversion factor, proposed change in reimbursement rates between 2017 and 2018 as well as other updates that may impact your practice.
