The AOA travel discount portal (member login required) offers reduced-rate pricing on hotel rooms and rental cars, including those from major lodging and rental companies.

Hotel offerings include Trip Advisor reviews, photos, location maps, lists of on-site amenities and multiple room options.  Typical discounts range from 6-42%, including hotels in the world’s premier destinations, such as London, Venice and Toyko.

Domestic travelers can save on business or leisure lodging, with hotels available in most American destinations.

A recent sample search found offers for every budget, including a 39% discount at a Holiday Inn Express in Manhattan ($175 per night), 16% off the Cleveland Key Center Marriott ($130) and 50% off a family resort near Universal Studios in Orlando ($61).

Rental cars are available from most major companies, with international availability. Search by size, from economy to a seven-seat minivan, or treat yourself to a luxury vehicle or convertible.
