Dr. Kimball was elected during the academy’s annual convocation in Colorado Springs on March 23. Dr. Kimball will become the president of the nation’s largest society focused on neuromusculosketal medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine. She will serve her term as president in 2018-19. Catherine Kimball, DO Dr. Kimball has been practicing family medicine in Waterville, Maine, for 30 years. She also treats patients with osteopathic manipulative medicine to address concerns such as headaches, newborn feeding difficulties, ear infections and back pain. “I am looking forward to becoming more active on behalf of our membership in the areas of training, certification, reimbursement and international affairs,” Dr. Kimball says. Dr. Kimball graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri, now part of A.T. Still University. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Osteopathic Cranial Academy and the Maine Osteopathic Association.
