Dec. 1, 2016Thursday AOA Staff Contact AOA Staff Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email Topics research The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) will soon be releasing funding for chronic low back pain research. “PCORI seeks to fund large, pragmatic, randomized clinical trials that compare the effectiveness of sequences of efficacious and/or commonly used noninvasive interventions alone or in combination for patients with nonspecific, nonradicular chronic low back pain,” the funding notice says. Up to $50 million will be available to support high-quality studies in this area. This opportunity supports PCORI’s mission to improve the quality and relevance of evidence available to help patients, caregivers, clinicians, employers, insurers and policy makers make informed health decisions.
