Nov. 4, 2016Friday AOA Staff Contact AOA Staff Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email Topics MACRAMedicare A recent Medscape survey found more than 87% of respondents remain unfamiliar about the details of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), Healthcare Informatics reports. The online survey reports 28.6% of responding physicians have not heard of MACRA and 40.2% are unfamiliar with MIPS, according to Healthcare Dive. Additionally, 39.2% said they do not know a lot about MACRA and 34.9% report they are unaware of MIPS details. Despite the survey findings, there is some improvement from July when Deloitte found half of doctors were unaware of MACRA and the plan details.
