Top-notch care The world’s 10 best hospitals for 10 different specialties, according to Newsweek To create the lists, Newsweek worked from a global survey of over 40,000 health care professionals from the summer of 2021. Oct. 8, 2021Friday Rose Raymond Contact Rose Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email Newsweek recently partnered with Statista to produce its lists of the world’s best hospitals for 10 different specialties for 2022. To create the lists, Newsweek relied on a global survey of over 40,000 health care professionals that was conducted in the summer of 2021. Health care professionals ranked hospitals in their own specialty and were also able to rank hospitals in an optional second specialty. Newsweek gave more weight to participants’ recommendations within their own specialty. The full rankings list the top 250 hospitals for cardiology and oncology, the top 150 hospitals for cardiac surgery and pediatrics and the top 125 hospitals for endocrinology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery and pulmonology.
