Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine in Buies Creek, North Carolina, has a new master’s program for health care professionals who are teachers and leaders. Enrollees who complete the program will earn a Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE) and study leadership, change management, curriculum design and teaching strategies. The virtual program is designed to provide health care professionals with the essential skills they need to thrive as faculty and leaders in education in health professions schools. It is open to clinicians of all disciplines. Participants can complete the program in 24 months or extend their study over a longer period of time. The part-time program is designed for working professionals who maintain their jobs while completing the program. CUSOM is currently enrolling students to begin the program in August 2021.
