Research JAOA calls for COVID-19 research The journal’s editors invite researchers to share information and data about their experiences with COVID-19 with the osteopathic medical community. April 28, 2020Tuesday AOA Staff Contact AOA Staff Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email Topics JAOA The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (JAOA) invites osteopathic researchers to share information and data about their experiences with novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with the osteopathic medical community. The JAOA editors welcome manuscript* submissions on the following topics: • Patient management • Virus progression • Novel therapies • Symptom management options such as osteopathic manipulative medicine/osteopathic manipulative treatment • Personal protective equipment The JAOA also seeks content related to the pandemic, such as: • Articles on efforts to create new virtual medical education models • Literature reviews on techniques used in similar epidemics and pandemics Given the urgent and timely nature of these topics, rapid review for submissions is guaranteed. Researchers will receive a first decision in seven days or less. Upon acceptance, articles will be published online ahead of print. Please review submission guidelines and submit here.
