The team raised over $15,000 during the 3-day, 180-mile cycling event for the American Lung Association. Nicole Fecteau Pasquarello has led the charge to grow the team from two to 13 members over the past three years. Over 2,000 cyclists and 700 volunteers made the event possible. The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Maine Osteopathic Association and the Maine Osteopathic Educational Foundation sponsored the 13 riders. The team had UNECOM across their jerseys, which helped them promote awareness of osteopathic medicine. Several team members are already registered for the 2019 Trek Across Maine, which will feature a new route for the 35th anniversary of the Trek.
