Buser, DO, received the inaugural Board Chair Special Recognition Award from the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine at the association’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C., last week. The award was presented with sincere appreciation for Dr. Buser’s many years of service and contributions to osteopathic medical education. Dr. Buser has been the dean of the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine since 2007; previously, he held a number of leadership positions at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
