Jan. 17, 2018Wednesday Ashley Altus Contact Ashley Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email Topics In Memoriam Kevin Olson, DO, Ph.D., a former president of the Ohio chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, died Jan. 13, in Upper Arlington, Ohio. He was 61. After graduating medical school in 1987 from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM), Dr. Olson owned and practiced at Columbus Health Professionals for nearly 30 years. From 1999-2000, he served as president of the Ohio State Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. In 2015, he received Master Faculty status, the highest honor bestowed upon faculty members at OU-HCOM, for his exceptional contributions to clinical training in family medicine. Dr. Olson loved local arts and theater. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to: the Helen P.
