Social scene: NOM week celebrates DOs and the distinctive care they provide

DO pride reigned supreme this week as osteopathic physicians, medical students and supporters spread awareness of the profession across social media in honor of National Osteopathic Medicine (NOM) Week, April 17-23.

NOM Week brings the osteopathic medical profession together to educate members of the public about the whole-person care DOs provide.

DOs, osteopathic medical students and family members highlighted the profession’s distinctive approach to care with their submissions to the AOA’s #DoctorsThatDO NOM Week Photo Contest.
