The publication describes the honor as recognizing “the bright minds and bold talents who’ve left an indelible mark on their industries before age 40.” In his role at the American Hospital Association, Dr. Bhatt helps physicians across the country understand health policy. In the past, Dr. Bhatt has also spearheaded projects that use big data to improve public health, such as tapping into census data to help connect uninsured, at-risk women with breast cancer screenings. Earlier this year, the American Osteopathic Foundation honored Dr. Bhatt with the James M. Lally, DO, Emerging Leader award.
