Scholarship for $3,000 available to medical students: Entry essay due Aug. 1

Write a 500-800 word essay on what your ideal medical career looks like and you could receive a $3,000 scholarship.

SingleCare, a medical discount broker, is offering a $3,000 scholarship to one medical or pharmacy school student for its Fall 2018 Scholarship Promotion.

Applicants must submit a 500-800 word essay that answers the following questions:

-What has led you to where you are now?
-What has been your number one motivation for completing your chosen medical program?
-What does your ideal career look like?
-If you were to look 30 years into the future, what would you like to have accomplished?

The deadline for applications is Aug. 1; winners will be announced on Aug. 8.

    We confirmed with SingleCare that the scholarship is open to DO students as well; SingleCare is planning to update the language on the contest webpage to reflect that, but please be assured that DO students are eligible for the scholarship. Many thanks.
