Educating others about mental health and decreasing its stigma is important. The administration at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM-Carolinas Campus) in Spartanburg, South Carolina allows students to pursue this passion with a week of activities designed to address and improve mental health awareness and care. OMS Day of Wellness ended with an inspiring panel of students willing to discuss their own mental health struggles in order to educate classmates and make mental health less taboo.
