Back to school: AACOM launches resources for 2016-17 application cycle

Centralized service enables candidates to complete one application for osteopathic medical school.

Know someone getting ready to apply for medical school? The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) recently released resources to help osteopathic medical schools and candidates navigate their way through the 2016-2017 application cycle.

AACOM application service

AACOM’s application service system simplifies the application process by enabling prospective students to complete one application through the centralized service. The application is then forwarded to the designated osteopathic medical schools.

Osteopathic medical schools will begin processing applications for the 2017-2018 academic year on Wednesday, June 15.

Prospective applicants and prehealth advisors can find the latest information about the nation’s osteopathic medical schools in AACOM’s 2017 Osteopathic Medical College Information Book. The digital version is available online and the print version will be available later this month.

  • Admissions requirements.
  • Tuition and fees.
  • Application deadlines.
